Jazz Studies Program newsletter

I am finally getting around to putting the first newsletter of the 2011 - 2012 school year together. So much has been going on since the last newsletter back in June it will be impossible for me to recap!
Instead, I will try to focus on whats coming up!

"We hope that you will join us on June 10th at the
Manitoba Theatre Centre for the fifth and final edition of
Jazz for Humanity. With your help, we have been able to donate over $23,000 to Ubuntu's initiatives in Kimironko throughout the last five years. We are striving to add another $15,000 to that total by filling our theatre on June 10th!

We are thrilled to announce that every penny from ticket sales, art auction sales and donations at Jazz for Humanity 2011 will go directly to Rwanda. Every contribution from each of our audience members is indispensable. If you are unable to attend, we invite you to consider purchasing a ticket for a student through our donate - a - ticket program.

We want to thank you for the generous support you have shown us throughout the duration of our project. Whether Jazz for Humanity is a relatively new discovery to you, or whether you have been with us since the very start five years ago, you are a member of the community which has allowed us to grow and create change.

Thank you - Merci - Murakoze!"
